It’s funny how miracles sometimes happen at just the right time. This was definitely the case in January 2007, when CCF was attending the March for Life in Washington D.C. It was freezing outside, and the snow was just starting to melt, and everyone was sliding around as they walked. But the thrill of standing up for something we believed in was exhilarating. We were making our way to the rally, when a little girl in front of us dropped a stack of Holy Cards with the picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the ground, not stopping to pick them up. Frank bent over to pick them up, and low and behold there were exactly 10 of them. The strange this was, there were exactly 10 of us on the trip. We all turned the cards over in awe, and were struck once again by a miraculous occurrence. There on the back of the card was the prayer to end abortion, the very prayer we had been praying for the past nine days. But that’s not even the best part; the day we came upon the cards, was the ninth day of our novena. After that, and all throughout the March, we saw banners with pictures of Our Lady of Guadalupe everywhere we turned.
Gods moves in mysterious ways, doesn’t he?
